Bruno Mora was one of Sean Dineen's best friends (they grew up on the same block together).  When I started going with Sean in my senior year, Bruno became a part of our "high school" romance...they always hung together.  Bruno was soooo cute and funny and pretty shy (at first)...as time passed and I married Sean, Bruno continued to be in our lives and became a best friend to me.  When Sean and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary, Bruno took us to San Francisco to see "My Fair Lady" which was a really big evening out back in the day!

As the years passed, Sean and I moved to Livermore, Bruno married, moved to Piedmont and continued working at Piedmont Grocery and we lost touch.  When I heard of Bruno's passing I felt saddened we had not kept in touch.  He was quite a guy, thinking of him always makes me smile.

I knew Bruno and his family well growing up as a teen-ager, as he lived on Rio Vista and I lived one block away on Montel St., both off of Piedmont Ave. We had a lot of fun as kids together in the neighborhood. Bruno was a very good bowler. After graduation as I recall, he worked for the Piedmont Grocery Co. for many years at several sites. I was totally unaware of his passing until I spoke via e-mail with Laurie Dineen and came to this web site. He died far too young like so many others here !!!

Bruno and I drank a lot of beer together and, as I recall, double dated at the Senior Ball.  I would run into Bruno occasionally at the Piedmont Groceries.  (I believe that he managed Piedmont's store on Skyline until it closed.)  He was great guy and will be missed.
